i've got a new hobby: punch needle! i am in love with the loopy, ultra-textured embroidery that results from simply punching a special needle through fabric. i chose this ultra-punch needle, which comes with 3 needle sizes, instructions, and has an adjustable loop/needle length. you guys, it is SO much fun! and it's a great way to use up leftover embroidery floss. it also works with yarn, but i have not tried that yet.

sonia not only makes the best mini hoops, she's also a creative busy-bee and her enthusiasm is contagious. she recently shared an easy (and genius!) way to transfer patterns. check it out here.
