oh, i am really feeling this one lately. today, this week, the past many months... life is stressful these days.
i'm really good at slowing down, not taking on too much, knowing and holding my boundaries, and structuring my days so that there's plenty of downtime. but even with all this in place, i've found that lately, i need even more- more slowing down, more time away from screens, more recharging, more intentional time to relieve the stress of everyday life during these times.
and of course, i find that the more time i spend doing the good, nourishing stuff, the less impact the stressful, heavy, and exhausting stuff has on me.
it all makes perfect sense, but still we need a reminder now and then, don't we? even a few minutes make a difference, if those minutes are purposeful.
so i hope you can take a few minutes to breathe, recharge, step away from the stress, and take good care of you today.
