december’s stitch club pattern is here, celebrating cozy togetherness and the little pops of color that brighten winter. 
the simple, playful florals make it an easy piece to unwind with as the year winds down. i can’t wait to see this one come to life!

i've started on mine, and first up, i pre-loaded several needles with 2 strands of yellow floss, and using colonial knots to fill in the yellow flowers.

next i wanted to see how the white flowers were going to look, so i started this little section. using 2 strands, straight stitches for the petals (most of the petals use 2-3 stitches), and satin for the centers.

and after all the flowers were done, i used the green floss (2 strands) for the leaves (satin) and the stems (back).

the flower pot is outlined with a whipped back stitch (2 strands) and i added a few rows of brick stitch (2 strands).

all done!
