stitch club :: 6/2019 :: sunny bunnies

let's all say hey to this new bunny pattern, our new june stitch club design!
🐰🌷🐰
these bunnies made an appearance in an illustration project that i worked on a few years ago, and i'm excited to bring them back in a new and fun way.
.
didn't we just talk about my love of folk art? i can't wait to start stitching this one!

i'm loving the way the colors pop on this blue fabric!
.
i stitched the bunnies with a back stitch outline, seed stitch bellies, and satin/back for the flowers and vines. 2 strands.
the center of the big flower is coming along nicely, and i'm using 2 strands and satin here. the orange leaves are filled with [split/2] and i'm working on the flowers petals now [padded satin/2]
i'm whipping the back stitches that i used for the leaves and vines. and for the main stem, brick stitch. [2 strands for everything].
if you need a little refresher for some of these stitches, check out my ‘stitch library.’
