forest floor, first stitches!

i'm using my standard 2 strands here, just basic straight stitches for the dark blue lines, and lazy daisy stitches for the red leaves.⠀

as you can see here, i sometimes like to make my anchor stitches first, and then the loop part of the stitch. for me, it (the lazy daisy stitch) ends up looking neater and more precise this way. if you want to get really crazy, you can also use different color floss for the anchor stitches when you use this method.😉⠀
