i feel like this time of year can be so tough. one day it's warm and spring-like, and you're watching daffodils bloom; the next day it's blustery and cold, and everything is encased in ice. i'm ready for spring to stick around! i can't wait to start planting seeds and watching the trees bud and leaf out. and of course, the flowers!
we're not quite there yet, so in the meantime, i am settling in with a blanket and a steamy mug of hot tea, lighting a candle or two, and working on some stitching. remembering to enjoy these last days of winter hibernation and the gentle, slow pace.

Every Easter my siblings and I reunited at my folks’ house and dye eggs. I’ve been living abroad for the last 3 years and dying eggs alone, but I get to reunite with my family this year, and I cannot wait! Something about dying eggs brings out that childhood joy that is sometimes so hard to find in adulthood, and doing it with my loved ones will be so much sweeter. Makes the abundance of pollen that comes with spring worth it :)
