slow down, get cozy, get crafty GIVEAWAY

it's giveaway time, friends!

*****update: the giveaway is closed as of 3-13-24 12:01 a.m. you may still comment, but it will not be considered for entry. winners will be notified via email. thank you!*****

i feel like this time of year can be so tough. one day it's warm and spring-like, and you're watching daffodils bloom; the next day it's blustery and cold, and everything is encased in ice. i'm ready for spring to stick around! i can't wait to start planting seeds and watching the trees bud and leaf out. and of course, the flowers!

we're not quite there yet, so in the meantime, i am settling in with a blanket and a steamy mug of hot tea, lighting a candle or two, and working on some stitching. remembering to enjoy these last days of winter hibernation and the gentle, slow pace.

and i'd love to share some cozy, crafty vibes with you. i've got two bundles of goodies to give away, to get you through these last lingering winter days. everything you need to slow down, get cozy, get crafty!

TWO winners will receive:

to enter, comment on this blog post and tell me: what do you have coming up that you're excited about? it can be anything! big or small, what's something that you look forward to?

did you know that anticipation allows us to gain pleasure from something in the near future, before the event even occurs? it's such a valuable emotion! and looking forward to small, delightful things are as enjoyable as one big event.

so, share something that you're anticipating!

xo, liz

  • I have been surprised by an unexpected delivery of a bull calf by a Holstein mix cow. Joy, who happens to be a twin, is just two and has never been “broken.” I have started the process of getting to milk her and she behaves like a champ every small step of the way! I hope to have her as my main source of milk for a very long time to come. I always look forward to my twice daily barn chores (and in between checks), but I always am anxious to get working on my needlework projects to keep me grounded.
